Our names are Jeannie and Dan Martin. We've lived here, in the Lewiston-Auburn area of Maine, most of our lives. Both of us were born and raised here. Jeannie's an entertainer and I'm a design engineer. Our daughter Tammy was our ideal child; respectful, helpful, independent, and stood her ground for what she believed in, for herself, and for her friends. She was a straight "A" student through her first year in junior high when she was struck down by liver cancer. Her cancer, which didn't show itself until a very late stage, took her life in just six short weeks. We were devastated. Since our loss, we've been blessed with two beautiful, and equally talented daughters, Amanda and Brittany. |
