| On August 2, 2000, The Tammy Martin Memorial Foundation granted a wish to Jacob Binette. Jacob, who was 9 months old at the time, has leukemia. For his wish the Foundation gave him $200.00 worth of Sam's gift certificates (Sam's Italian graciously donated $100.00 worth of certificates), $150.00 worth of gas certificates ($50.00 generously donated by Ring's Quick Stop), $263.00 in bedding, clothes, and toys. All of these gifts were presented to Jacob and his family at the foundation's Canal Street Bingo. His parents have told us that he enjoys his toys very much and that the food and gas certificates have been very helpful on their trips to Maine Medical and Children's Hospital in Boston.
